Stroke survivors taking an exercise class

Some might find it easier to exercise with the help of a programme. Below are two options from LEGS and A Stroke of Luck.

LEGS - Local Exercise Groups

LEGS runs affordable, accessible, physiotherapist-led exercise classes for people with neurological conditions.

You can visit their website for details on how to join here.

A Stroke of Luck

The Stroke Association and charity A Stroke of Luck, who focused on exercise-based recovery, compiled a comprehensive online video programme focusing on strength, stability, stamina, and flexibility.

The exercises were developed by the former founder of A Stroke of Luck Craig Pankurst with his team of neurophysios Becky Robins, Nicole Lavin and Mark Watterson.

You can choose from three different mobility groups.
