The Stroke Association Expert Reviewer Pool is a network of independent experts who help assess applications to our research funding programmes. Members include researchers, clinicians and other specialists with expertise relevant to stroke research.
By providing expert scientific review, pool members help ensure that the research we fund is rigorous, high quality and has the greatest potential to improve life after stroke. Their expertise plays a vital role in helping us make fair, evidence-based funding decisions that support the ambitions set out in our Research Strategy.
Terms of Reference
All members of the Expert Reviewer Pool are expected to work with integrity, impartiality and confidentiality. Reviewers must declare and manage any conflicts of interest and adhere to the principles outlined in the Pool's Terms of Reference.
These standards help ensure that our research funding decisions remain transparent, fair and robust.
