About this service

Our Carmarthenshire Community Connect Service supports stroke survivors and their loved ones to reconnect with their local community. The service develops sustainable groups where you can share your experiences and socialise. We'll support and encourage you to get back to the things you enjoy like hobbies and interests.

It’s also a chance to meet people who have been there and are further along in their recovery journey. You can ask questions, share recovery tips and learn from each other to find new ways of doing things.

The service also has a focus on community prevention and stroke awareness.

Who is this service for?

We’re here to support anyone who’s had a stroke (including TIAs/mini-strokes). We’re also here for your loved ones, carers and friends.
