About this service
The Cardiff Communication and Stroke Support Service supports stroke survivors to reconnect with their local community. You can attend a weekly group meeting to support recovery and stay independent after a stroke.
This service will connect you with other stroke survivors and carers though the group where you can share experiences and socialise. We’ll support and encourage you to get back to the things you enjoy like hobbies and interests and be part of a community again.
Who is this service for?
We’re here to support anyone who’s had a stroke (including TIAs/mini-strokes). We’re also here for your loved ones, carers and friends.
Please note: One of our Stroke Support Coordinators will carry out an assessment, either during a home visit or over the phone to identify what matters most to you so we can best support you throughout your recovery. Joining the group requires a regular commitment to attend.
