Fundraise for the Stroke Association while recycling your old items. Visit the sites below for further information.
Recycling your scrap car
Giveacar: The UK’s original not-for-profit car donation service. Every vehicle – even if it’s just a car’s scrap metal value – is worth something. Giveacar arranges free collection, then either sells your car at auction or scraps it. You can then send the proceeds (minus a service fee) directly to the Stroke Association.
Scrap Car Comparison: The UK’s largest scrap and salvage vehicle comparison service, Scrap Car Comparison has supported the Stroke Association for several years. They help thousands of people sell their vehicles every month across the UK, including in London, Manchester and Kent. They’ll arrange free collection of your vehicle, and you can choose to donate some or all of the proceeds to the Stroke Association.
Donate your old stamps, jewellery, foreign currency and gadgets
Recycling for Good Causes: There are two options depending on the weight of the items you want to donate. For a few small items, you can download a printable label and use your own envelope. Please write Stroke Association on the dotted line of the label before posting. For larger items, you can request a free recycling project sack. You'll then arrange a courier collection at a time to suit you.
Recycling books
WeBuyBooks: Sell your unwanted books and raise money for the Stroke Association.
Donating clothes
Thrift+: Donate your unwanted clothes via the Thrift+ website. They will then sell them online, donating a percentage of the sales to the Stroke Association.

Recycling your ink cartridges
Recycle4Charity: This is a free and easy-to-use ink recycling programme. It helps thousands of members raise funds for charity and not-for-profit organisations. Print off a Freepost label or order a collection box and raise up to £2 per cartridge.
The Recycling Factory: The UK’s largest recycler of inkjet cartridges. They collect and recycle over eight million cartridges each year. Over 200 cartridges are eligible for a charitable donation of up to £1 per cartridge.
Pounds for postage
Recycling For Good Causes: Recycle your used stamps from Christmas cards to raise money for us. Save up used postage stamps, put them in an envelope and post them to Stroke Association, PO BOX 16992, Sutton, Coldfield, B73 9YA.
