Our top tips:
1. Set a fundraising target.
According to JustGiving, people who make a donation to their own page to get them started raise a whopping 42% more! If you hit your target before your fundraising event or activity is finished, increase it to encourage more donations.
2. Make regular updates to your page.
You can add photos and messages about how your training or preparation is going. JustGiving reported that you could raise 65% more if you Write a story on your page, helping your supporters understand why you’re fundraising.
3. Sharing your page also makes a huge difference.
Don’t be afraid to share. Sharing your page on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and WhatsApp will help you raise more. Pay day is the perfect time to share with your colleagues.
Taking on a physical challenge? You could raise 40% more and have supporters keep track of your progress by connecting your page with your Strava or Fitbit account.
